Using SAS SPM in anger

As part of one of our projects we have been rolling out the SAS Strategic Performance Management suite to a large number of users.

Our goal was to deliver scorecards to individual employees to assist with the performance management process.

Its been an interesting roll out so know I have some time I will post some of our experiences over the next few weeks so anybody else that is contemplating a similar rollout can leverage what we learnt.

Out of interest if there are any readers out there that are using SPM let me know.

  1. Hello,

I’ve been using SPM for 2 and a half years. I would like to ask you if you think it’s possible to do the following:

I need to format the color of one column, depending on the result of another.

Do you how i can do this?

    Thanks

    Rita

  2. Hi Rita

    Fairly easy ;-)

Create a column selection that has the results (i.e Actual) in it twice.

Leave one column as the value but change the other column to show the range colour.

Then apply the range to the metric attribute (i.e Actual) and one column will show the value and the other the colour.

    Is that what you meant?

    Cheers
    Shane
